I love my new MacBook, and Widgets are too much fun (although the flickr one isn't working today, grr). Here are the specs for my new baby, for those of you who care:

For Our Daily Challenge topic 'Modern.'
My car is 15 years old, I heat my cottage with fire wood, there's no 3 story building within 3 hour drive from here. Everything in this whole county is built only with wood. My town is a historical preservation district! The cell phone and computer are as modern as I can get (but its wireless and fast) ! Ten years in a fast-developing Chinese city was more than enough 'modern' life for me.
My current computer setup! Obviously not designed for sitting in front of all day and valuing portability and compactness.
I was bored whilst working at one of my companies alternate locations... waiting for win2k3 to boot.

spoiled myself with a new rig for the house and can finally get with some serious editing
My old dell M1210 (3 years old now) has slowed down to a crawl. For the past few weeks it has been freezing every time it tries to run multiple applications, such as anti-virus, backup, spotify, etc.
This has been getting on my nerves now, so I spent a few hours today changing computers temporarily until my new Sony S 13" with the Intel Core i5 chip arrives. I can't wait!
