Another round of photos from Dagstuhl. Most of these are of seminar participants engaged in various evening R&R activities (card games and billiards, for example), as well as some more night shots outside.
None of these have been cleaned or edited except for being shrunk to make them easier to upload en masse.
Computer Arts launched their beautifully re-designed magazine this month. They commissioned me to create illustrations for their feature about the latest design trends, including mobile phone artwork, monolithic stone forms and DIY stamps.

4.8.08. Apparently writing a story proved to be way too exhausting at this time of night. I decided to come home to write a short story for my writing class, and Lila kept me company all night. I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water, and this is what I found.
This is another image of one of the other computer I will be using for my 3D project. The screen will be blank unlike the other two computers which will focus on positive and negative aspects of the internet using viewers personal information. Most people think that you can only focus on one of the two sides of either the negatives or positives. With this computer I wanted to show a third option. The viewer can choose to not use the internet at all. This option is rarely thought about because in this day and age computers are part of everyday life. However, people have the choice of what they want to do.
