Traditions of Excellence Distinguished Alumni Awards Event
UW-Parkside, in association with the UW-Parkside Alumni Association, celebrated and honored the rich legacy of learning and the accomplishments of its graduates with the Traditions of Excellence Distinguished Alumni Awards event on May 12th, 2017, in Bedford Concert Hall and Main Place in Wyllie Hall.
Each of the university's four colleges honored two alumni in the categories of Achievement and Service. These eight outstanding alumni were recognized for excelling in their chosen field and/or performing exemplary service to the community.
Honorees included:
COLLEGE OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES: Kathleen A. Hansen '76, Keith G. Bosman '00
COLLEGE OF BUSINESS, ECONOMICS, AND COMPUTING: Sara J. Walker '8, Jim Kramer '79, MBA '90
COLLEGE OF NATURAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES: Dr. Brian R. Washburn '94, Susan J. Richardson '74
COLLEGE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND PROFESSIONAL STUDIES: John Harrison Nichols '81, Senator Robert W. Wirch '70.

I found one of my old notebooks on the bookshelf on this trip home. it had some urls and connection details for some of the moos & muds I used to play on plus some other notes for little projects I used to work on. I wonder how many are still active links!! I used to make the notebooks out of old 5.25" floppy disks as they were not being used as often any more.. how times change!! this is circa 1995 so not that long ago really...
