we bumped into the symphonie mechanique and their amazing musical machines in a square in bruges, a very entertaining spectacle and highly recommended if they ever should appear in your city

Internal lens elements had a lot of hazy dots on them and needed cleaning, so this lacked a little contrast out of the camera, but this lens is incredibly sharp wide open.

im laufe der letzten fünf jahre entstanden immer wieder bilder, welche die natur in stark verdichteten ansichten zeigt. das verschachteln sowohl inhaltlich, formal und farblicher ebenen führt von der abgebildeten realität weg und zu abstrakten wirklichkeiten hin. ist es in der natur nicht auch so, dass diese vielschichtigen ebenen wirklich existieren, urwälder, naturbelassene landstriche und selbst vom menschen künstlich geschaffene naturräume, kann man in der realität vorfinden. es sind seh- und denkübungen, wenn ich diese abstrakten naturräume konstruiere und mit hilfe der fotografie zu bildern fixiere.
