we bumped into the symphonie mechanique and their amazing musical machines in a square in bruges, a very entertaining spectacle and highly recommended if they ever should appear in your city

Internal lens elements had a lot of hazy dots on them and needed cleaning, so this lacked a little contrast out of the camera, but this lens is incredibly sharp wide open.

Given the condition of these tracks, timbers and rails I cannot begin to fathom the number of tons that have passed over the split in these two rails over the years. Million, Billions, more? Any yet in spite of the rust and decay, they still can support the weight. Amazing.
