The compost was all hot and steamy so Mark turned it by rebuilding the container next to it and shovelling it all back in. It will need doing again before it ready to use

The compost tea has been steeping for about 15 hours now, and it's getting really dark. Nothing needs watering yet, so I'm going to let it steep a little longer.

These young Middlefield Library patrons dug into a rich compost stew with experts from the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District.
