Its amazing how many components are needed to run an old CRT. PCA's have gotten much more advanced and automated so that the total part count necessary to run an LCD and the now emerging OLED screens, is amazingly few. Its all about the materials we build with being smarter and technology rich.
Its hard rubbish collection time in my street and I noticed the volume of CRT screens and other similar technology strewn about on peoples' lawn. Thought it was a testament to the revolution in cheap LCD and Plasma screens. Now just waiting for OLED screens to come blow everything else away.

Mangueira carnaval 2025 desfile 250302
A Mangueira fechou a noite do domingo, 02 de março de 2025. Foi a quarta agremiação a se apresentar no primeiro dia de desfiles das escolas de samba do Grupo Especial carioca, na Marquês de Sapucaí, Rio de Janeiro.
"À Flor da Terra - no Rio da Negritude Entre Dores e Paixões", o enredo de estreia do carnavalesco paulista Sidnei França no carnaval carioca 2025 deu à Estação Primeira a sexta colocação no desfile.
Agradecimentos ao Mestres Rodrigo Explosão e Taranta Neto, ao ritmistas da Bateria "Tem que respeitar meu Tamborim, aos componentes da verde e rosa, às Liesa, Rio Carnaval e Riotur.
