Álbum com 70 fotografias do Campeonato Nacional de Juvenis e Absolutos – Open de Portugal/Somague, que termina este domingo, 26 de Julho, no Complexo Olímpico de Piscinas de Coimbra.
A prova, que reúne os craques da modalidade, conta com a participação de 692 nadadores (415 masculinos e 277 femininos) em representação de 113 clubes oriundos de Espanha, Arménia, França, Irlanda, Grã-Bretanha, Dinamarca, Suíça, Ilhas Faroé, Holanda, Polónia, Finlândia e, naturalmente, Portugal.

Entre os presentes destaque para Diogo Carvalho (Galitos) e Alexis Santos (Sporting), ambos já com mínimos para os Jogos Olímpicos de 2016, bem como para Nuno Quintanilha (Colégio Vasco da Gama), Ana Catarina Monteiro (Fluvial Vilacondense) e Victoria Kaminskaya (Pimpões). Os cinco atletas vão representar Portugal no Mundial de Kazan, cujas provas de natação se realizam entre 2 e 9 de Agosto.
Carlos Cidade, Vereador do Desporto da Câmara Municipal de Coimbra, foi uma das personalidades convidadas para entregar os prémios referentes às provas realizadas este sábado.
O Campeonato Nacional de Juvenis e Absolutos – Open de Portugal/Somague é organizado em conjunto pela Federação Portuguesa de Natação, Câmara Municipal de Coimbra e Associação de Natação de Coimbra.

Qutab Minar in Delhi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is surrounded by several historically significant monuments of the Qutab complex that often do not get much attention and are usually dwarfed by the beauty and elegance of Qutab Minar itself. Everything is in ruins today, but the entire complex remains so majestic that you'll feel like you're traveling back in time once you're there.

This temple complex lies around 2.5km southeast of the egyptian city of Dendera and extends to around 40.000 square meters.
Rather ornate windows, a touch soft, the perils of dropping iso in the Spring. I had to take this from a pause in crossing the main road to get the framing and my pause looks like it never actually achieved immobility, also known as camera shake as I was down to danger levels of speed.
We hold an origami convention in Columbus Ohio every August.

The Nasrid Palaces are a complex of palaces that served as the residence of the kings of Granada. Its construction was started by the founder of the dynasty, Alhamar, in the thirteenth century, although the surviving buildings date mainly from the fourteenth century. The style and decoration of these palaces reflect the taste of the last Hispano-Arab governors of Al Andalus, the Nasrids.
There are three independent areas in the Nasrid Palaces: the Mexuar, which corresponds to the semipublic part of the palace, for justice administration and State affairs; the Comares Palace, which was the official residence of the king; and the Palace of the Lions, which was the private area of the palace, where the Harem was located. Not only were these areas different because of their functions, but also because of their artistic characteristics. The Comares Palace was decorated in a typically Muslim way, but the Palace of the Lions presents Christian influences, probably as a consequence of the friendship between Mohammed V and his Castilian counterpart Pedro I, the Cruel.
