These socks were my second pair of adult size. One sock was knit while pregnant with my second son and the other sock knit after he was born during my baby moon! They fit my husband perfectly and he wears them a lot!

Paddington Reservoir Gardens
The Paddington Reservoir is a water reservoir which provided water to the Botany Swamps pumping station for the provision of water to parts of Sydney between 1866 and 1899. In 2006 it was converted into a sunken garden and park known as the Paddington Reservoir Gardens or Walter Read Reserve.

Bought this kit from Wooly Lady when I was at the Houston Quilt Festival. This photo doesn't do the colors justice! Check out my blog for a link to the kit on her website.
Considerably more posh than the last time I was in there some 16+ years ago.
Apparently, the second floor was always marble covered. I had friends who had an office higher up and I remember it as being painted wood and incredibly hot inside.

Finally. I am finished. No more plaster of paris sand particles in my hair and eyes and mouth. No more primer. No more paint. I am done today. (Well... yesterday.)
For the first time in over three months, I actually forgot to take a photo. I got home so very late, sat down, thought about a photo, thought, "I'll do it in a minute" and was done. So I failed it. This photo was taken almost 9 hours too late. I'm postin' it any-damn-way.

05.08.2015: For part of this necklace I did the design while I was making it, so today I charted it out. I'd like to make this necklace again so this needed to be done. It didn't take long but it was a bit tedious (and hard on the tendonitis).
I did the calculations and this necklace has: 580 rows x 9 beads per row = 5,220 beads. It doesn't feel that big when I'm making it. °_°;
