Now the question becomes this: When I get a DSLR, should I save and save and save up for a Pro-level Nikon that can "wear" these same lenses? Or do I not think about that and get a DSLR I can afford.
Either way, I'm REALLY happy about the F3 and the 3 lenses I have for it.

One of the reasons that I have expanded the Limited collection is the size and compatibility with the X system. P-FA 77mm f1.8 is the longest Limited lens I have and with the adapter to XE-3, the size isn't too much different from my current XF lens.
For the X system lens, there are tiers of f1.4 and f2.8 primes which varies in size and weight as well. As shown, the 56mm f1.2 is the largest of the 3 and price of the latest lens is more than double. I got my 77mm at quite a low price so I wouldn't really compare using it. However, I do find a few deals recently from Amazon for DA limited lens at very reasonable prices.
DA lens will work just fine on the X system as they are meant for APS-C. FA lens will be great if one has plans for Pentax full frame setup. K1 takes in both types so it's not really that big deal. Personally, I prefer FA ones though they are more costly.
The HD versions may suit the higher resolution sensors. It's definitely an alternative for the X system. This is why I have just added an HD DA macro limited lens. Not sure how a small macro lens will perform. So with the lens, I will have 4 Limited primes covering from 22.5mm to 115.5mm for K mount cameras and will extend X range from 21mm to 115.5mm with 6 primes.
Testing my 7D as well as I was surprised by the shots made with the 17-40L the other morning. Luckily, I took K1, 7D and D700 (died on the spot due to the battery leak issue which comes and goes). Only K1 survived though found something about DA 15mm on K1. Anyway, lots of learning to take in. As for the 7D with 17-40L, I remained confused. I can't tell if it's really sharp or if it's due to my perception has changed. Have to check the sharpness that 7D can achieve first before I find out what's wrong.
The shape of things to come: A new Bombardier Flexity tram, operating on new route 514 seen here leaving the distillery district. It was very hot on my visit and the new trams have the advantage of air conditioning! The trolleypole is necessary for compatibility with the traditional overhead.

1987 would bring revisions to the DeVille/Fleetwood models, gaining new three dimensional taillamps, composite headlamps, a new extended wheelbase Fleetwood "Sixty Special" model, with the base Fleetwood model being dropped for the d'Elegance. Fleetwood coupe was also discontinued.
Eldorado and Seville were largely unchanged save for some minor interior details and paint/interior colors.
Fleetwood Brougham was now renamed Brougham, and received a new base model interior somewhat resembling the 1981-84 DeVille.
Allante would be introduced in 1987, however it is not included in this book.

CCS are metal-complex colorants solutions prepared for solvent-base stains formulations. CCS concentrated liquid dyes were formulated in order to replace powder colorants with much more practical solutions inside the production process and to minimize variations in the mixing solution. In fact, main features of CCS solutions, are very high concentration and low viscosity. These characteristics combine practicality of use of a liquid solution to an advantage of a low formulating space, allowing the choice of the solvent or component more suitable to the application. CCS are characterized by a high fastness to light and by the possibility of full mixing with a wide range of solvents and resins normally used for solvent-base dyes solutions. They allow to obtain stains with a high rate of transparency and very intensive hues. Thanks to their high solubility, stains containing CCS concentrated dyes result more brilliant after varnishing. In the painting of deep pore wood essence, where for various reasons it may be difficult to dye the pore, the inclusion of CCS allows good staining during the painting step.
The CCS gives excellent uniformity in application and can be used in all the main painting solvent-base systems for internal manufacts.
CCS concentrates are not suitable for water systems. In some cases, it is possible to add small percentages, after checking the compatibility, in a mixed solvent and water solution in order to obtain a brighter color.

Porsche was requested by Wa. Prüf. 6 to investigate fitting an 8.8 cm Flak 41 gun into the turret being designed for the VK45.01(P) (with its 1,900 mm diameter turret ring). By September 1941, Porsche reported that only the 8.8 cm Kw.K. L/56 could fit. The result of this was that a new turret had to be designed in order to accommodate a longer 8.8 cm gun and this design was finalized by 20th January 1942, based around the desire for a narrow gun mantlet presenting a smaller target area.
This turret, designed for the VK45.02(P2) (aka Typ-180) by Porsche, was approved by Wa. Prüf. 6 and was of a totally new design with no compatibility with any preceding turret. The curved shape (45-degree upper slope and 30-degree lower slope) of the 100 mm front plate behind the cast mantlet was intended to reduce the area presented to a possible enemy. The turret side and rear armor were intended to match the hull, with 80 mm thick plates, with the rear plate being removable in order to access the gun for removal/replacement. It is important to note that the curved armor sections for this turret were not cast but manufactured flat and then forged into a curved shape and then welded together to provide additional strength. This process was not without problems. The compound PP793 armor plate came from Krupp and was shaped by heat-forging but, during the shaping process, half of the turrets developed cracks where the plate was curved and stretched the most.
