“Synopsis”
A Palestinian group from Gaza hacks into North Korea’s cryptocurrency system, stealing hundreds of millions of dollars. Their true goal is not money—but to recreate the lost homeland of Gaza on American soil.
Amid the backdrop of hardline Republican immigration policies and a growing wave of xenophobia, a quiet plan begins to take shape: the gradual collapse of America from within.
During a speech at Madison Square Garden, Republican presidential candidate Justin Bradford is shot. Almost simultaneously in Los Angeles, former president Owen Reed is attacked at a rally for Democratic hopeful Ryan Bennett.
Two assassinations—mirroring one another—ignite a nation’s deepest divide. Yet, against all odds, Justin survives. His blood type is one in 2.5 million: the Bombay Blood Group.
The only person who can donate such blood is Anaya Patel, a community art facilitator working in Brooklyn. Her blood, stored in the Bellevue Hospital Blood Bank, is used for an emergency transfusion that saves the candidate’s life.
Jack Vance, an agent of the U.S. Secret Service, suspects a Gaza-based network behind the attacks. Together with Cameron Bartlett, the FBI Director of the Los Angeles Field Office, and Veronica Reeves, a senior investigator from New York, he begins to uncover a vast conspiracy.
Their investigation leads them to Rafi Gannam, a former architecture student at the Islamic University of Gaza, who has infiltrated redevelopment sites across Los Angeles and New York—embedding C4 explosives deep within beams and structural cores.
His targets: new residential districts where agents of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) live—symbols of “the order America built.”
Veronica urges the President to pursue dialogue to prevent further destruction, but President Grant M. Ranford refuses to listen.
Meanwhile, the recovering Justin and his Democratic rival Ryan appear on national television, calling for unity beyond political divisions.
Their words of reason, however, are drowned out when Grant takes the stage in Iowa, defiantly declaring: “We will never bow to terror.”
Among the crowd, Rafi’s operatives have already taken their positions.
As chaos erupts and the stage collapses, Amir Nasser—once Rafi’s comrade, haunted by the memory of his sister’s death in Gaza—tries desperately to halt the chain of destruction.
But Rafi’s conviction remains unshaken.
Under the twilight beneath the Williamsburg Bridge, amid the city’s fading noise, the two men part ways.
It is the boundary between prayer and vengeance, between hope and nothingness.

I'm proud to finally announce my next product, The Dark Archbishop! It'll be coming out tomorrow, March 20th at the event The Engine Room!
This set was based on a concept made for TURB by Voidsquid (Luminatic), who was also the original concept artist that made the Tooth Grinder Gauntlets.
Also there is some in-store lore about this outfit, but I haven't made any of it available yet, so ignore it for the time being.

A 40 minute walk to the site, and my main camera had no battery. In another bag!! The start of a tour and not the sort of problem I'm used to, but I had a back up and a couple of pocket cameras including the S7000 that I picked up for the price of a turkey. I work with a Pentax K3 for its weather proofing, robust build and compatibility with M39, M42 and PK - they just live for ever and go through storm and waterfall without the slightest problem. A small stumble and the Nikon was broken - perhaps it was intended for places with carpets and cushions? Pentax pocket cameras are not stronger.
For this shot, I exposed for the sky and then for the inside and patched the two by hand.
There is lots of anticipation and web news round two new flagship Pentax cameras: K3 iii for apsc and the K1 mark iii for full frame. I may stay with the K3 iii for price and the reason that with apsc there is a percentage of cropping from vintage lenses, and as I need to use a range of wide lenses, the exterior 'vintage' aberrations tend to be trimmed.
Recent Pentax news has often been forwarded by the staff that invent and design the cameras, and there has been criticism of them being under the par of the dynamic and cool Elon Musk and less sexy than ... whatever ('the public just wants to buy into an image' being an idea promoted by one Pentax critic). Personally I like to see the people who are working on inventing cameras. The new spec. and respected standards interest me. Pentax don't do much to publicise, so I'll say a word from my point of view.
Being able to dial the aperture to the EXIF when shooting in manual will be very useful when bracketing stacks or comps; improvements around the pentaprism are utterly thrilling and this will be strong territory for Pentax cameras when contrasted with other brands. The improvement in the video will also be greatly welcomed - myself included. Astro tracking and AI both adding potential answers for specific shots. Burst rates and focus points and cross phases don't concern me as I do everything in manual and only shoot vintage glass. By and large Pentax are regarded as having among the best landscape cameras available and the improvements in these areas will let many respond to more moments - landscape and then wildlife; studio shots with water and mist; street photography in rain, sport with drizzle, macro in dew, coast with spray, cars with splat... You still have to look after and clean a camera, but these are the go to extremes for an everyday top end Pentax. One thing that was mentioned by a Pentax Ricoh executive was that Pentax would not rush to beat every camera for details of spec: the most focus points, highest ISO and so on. I like this, knowing that their innovations (such as in-camera stabilisation), when they do come, are vastly useful and a spirit of quick competition may cut corners. We want solid Pentax cameras that keep up the good work of recent years - not failing rushed overkill. The executive then likened this business model to the car maker Alpha Romeo - 'you buy the car because it is a lifestyle, not because it is perfect'. Here I disagree. Alpha Romeo cars looked great - Pentax cameras look like cameras with big prisms, serious grips ... and buttons and hatches. They've had cool colours in the past, but ... so what. Alpha Romeo cars break down all the time and take in water; Pentax cameras are probably the toughest waterproof cameras on the market, and apart from some work around glitches in some models (A to M), they are very reliable. I like other cameras: Sony, Canon, Panasonic and I love vintage Nikkor glass, but I choose and need cameras from the K3 to K1 end of the Pentax range whilst still being amazed by the features of the K50. I would like all camera companies to survive and hope that more people will learn to go through life looking with the mind and eyes of a camera and not the mentality of a phone. A last point to make, is that when discussing Pentax, some commentators cruise around the subject with their windows down and their music in full blast and suffix their analysis with sly phrase like "everyone but the diehard Pentax fanboys". There is something slightly irrational about being a fan. Working with Pentax is a decision like any other.
And if I could recommend two things to the hard working researchers of Pentax it would be to trust your judgements about the camera market and mirrorless, and to sell the final cameras with a flush PKA to M42 adapter with a mini DVD film showing newcomers how to use it. The Pentax lens set is from Limited to M42, and from Takumar to Pentax M, and that is a real story for a modern and strong camera.

Nikon's Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 standard lens. Nikon took the opportunity when they did the Ai-conversion and simultaneously improved its optical performance. Easily distinguished with its double rails focusing ring, colored depth of field scales on the metal lens mounting ring and the secondary ADR aperture scale. IF you intend to sue serial number to verify its version, probably it may have been started with a serial number from 394-001 onwards.
Generally, Ai Nikkor lenses are famed for their extremely well made quality where some Nikon users also maintain their opinion it is a better buy optic than a comparing Ai-S of equivalent. Well, if you are not too keen on other aspect, the Ai-Nikkor should fulfill your needs. IF you want some flexibility and better compatibility with some selective MF Nikon models (such as Nikon FG, Nikon FA, Nikon F301) that offer Program AE and/or Shutter Priority AE, seemingly the Ai-S Nikkor may be a better option. However, some reports suggested Ai Nikkor can still perform AE in those modes when stopped the aperture set to its minimum aperture.

"That's no moon! It's a sun!" All hail Star Wars for giving us a plethora of quips and catchphrases that can be adapted to so many situations and moments in life. And indeed, it's not a moon, or a Death Star, but is in fact the sun, as seen through a thick bank of fog flowing over the edge of the Bickerton Hills escarpment prior to sunset. :-)
The fog was dense enough to stop any glaring halo around the sun but not dense enough to stop the sunlight from turning the Ash tree into a silhouette...and *click*.
In reference to a query from JAT2012. concerning the compatibility of the Nik Collection with the photo-editing prog Affinity Photo I've installed to replace Photoshop, they will work as long as they are plug-ins within the Affinity prog. I tried to use the Nik Collection as stand alone progs but whereas the files produced by SilverEfex Pro 2 work fine with Affinity, ColorEfex 4 produces files that Affinity can't read, and I suspect that's the case with some of the other progs within the Nik Collection. So, it's better overall if you install Nik as plugins within the Affinity prog, it's a bit of a circuitous route to get there but is simple enough to do by following this instructional video;
