Crews working for WSDOT are creating a new roadway on SR 203 between Stillwater Hill Road and NE 88th Street. Here you can see the asphalt roller flattening new pavement. This is part of making repairs to an unstable slope between Carnation and Duvall. All lanes of SR 203 are expected to reopen by Monday, Jan. 25.

The Agfa Compact was billed as the world's smallest motorized camera, and was the last camera manufactured by Agfa. It is the same height as the Olympus XA, and only about 5 mm wider.
A compact little guy for driving around, that's been lying around for a few months. I initially created his just so I could use those dark green technic fairing plates, which were an absolute pain to integrate into any building. Ever since I saw Mahjqa's Stilzkin Igniz, I was very impressed with it that I wished I had one of my own. So I did, albeit a smaller version.
My vehicle is powered by a single M-Motor in the rear segment, where it is roommates with the large battery box. The power is transferred from the motor to a central driveshaft going both segments via U-joint, where it is further split perpendicularly into the axles and sprockets, via bevel gears. Thus, both pairs of tracks are powered. Because of the space restriction, I was confined to being more economical and used bevel gears in place of differentials. While the simplicity is good and the APC can drive fine, turning can be a little stressful for it.
Turning is achieved by a M-Motor in the front cabin. Its drive axle faces forwards, where its power is split into two (both outputs rotate the same direction) through the use of gear trains. The axles are re-routed backwards, parallel to the motor, and into the mini linear actuators, who hook onto the rear cabin.
Aesthetics turned out okay, I guess. I think I did a fair job integrating all the PF elements into the body, weaving and tucking the wiring away and whatnot. The rear cabin was pretty straightforward, and in the roof is a little hatch that can be accessed using a lever, opening to reveal the power button and recharge port. The front cabin, on the other hand, was a bit more tough. the Technic system is very strict about geometric forms, so the curvaceous shaping was extremely difficult. As you can see, the roof of the front cabin is angled in all three axes. It is held together very unconventionally, but turned out stable enough. The front includes the little windshields, grill, bar, and lights. The rear has some lights, and a ladder and stuff. Other greebles I just decided to stick on for fun. I think the overall look turned out okay.

Compact is a neat little studs up font. Basic, but gets the job done. Perfect for signing mosaics.
