This site commemorates the Blood Compact between Miguel Lopez de Legazpi of Spain and Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol. The two men drank from a common cup and included in the drink were drops of blood taken from each other's arm. This act symbolized peace and friendship and this took place on March 16, 1565.

A neighborhood of he city of Barcelona as seen from afar. Part of the compactness is due to the long lens (300mm) that compressed the view.
Another awsome Sport Compact event at WSID.Loads of cars made the trek from all over Aus to compete.Almost capacity entries on the track & a great selection of hot cars on show.
The presentation standard of Sport Compact drag cars has really amazed me so far this year, with a lot of the top runner track cars looking like prestine show cars with candy pearl paint jobs,tastefull air brushing and graffix and tuff drag spec rims all round. these guys have definatly stepped it up a notch!
Took a whole lot of photo's throughout the day, but unfortunatly forgot my memory backup so was limited to 4G worth of space...Ahhhrr.

First attempt at water drops on a CD/DVD. Used my extension tubes for some and just dedicated macro for others. The colors you get from a CD and DVD are totally different so try both. Lots of fun on a rainy day.
