This is my current work area. Its a bit small, and the workbench is simply a piece of hi density fibre board clamped to a workmate bench. Eventually (he says!) I'll have a more substantial bench hinged to the wall. It has to be collapsible as the space's real function is the spare bedroom!

The Fujica Compact 35 is a 35mm compact camera released from Fuji in 1967.
It uses a 3.8cm (38mm) f/2.8 lens. It uses a zone based focus system. The shutter is from Seiko with speeds from 1/30 to 1/250, plus B. There is a A mode for automatic exposure which uses the selenium based light meter.

Auf dem Kultur-Flohmarkt in Barmbek fand ich die "Universa Compact", welche 3 Euro kosten sollte, da gab es nicht viel zu verhandeln.
Und seitdem ich sie einigermaßen scharf stellen kann, bin ich sehr zufrieden mit ihr. "

My compact camera (Sony DSC W510) produces an ugly spot just above the middle of the picture - all instructions I can find online refer to SLR cameras, is it possible to clean the sensor of a compact camera? (this picture is unprocessed except for 50% size reduction)
Not too sure why I need so many fixed aperature compact cameras. Perhaps it's time to get rid of some.
For a while, I thought the Compact Wireless-G router from Linksys was my dreams come true. Fast, small, cheap, efficient. However, it turned out it didn't handle massive torrenting (5-6 torrents, a zillion connections) very well :/ So if that's your thing, beware. Ordinary web-TV and everything else - a-OK. Also, it is very, very compact.
