Going thru some old archive photos I came upon a photo of a Max Occupancy sign at one of the exhibition halls at Chicago's McCormick Place. With all the talk of Social Distancing, it is good to remember what we have to look forward to when this is all said and done, and the next Auto Show comes in 2021
Watch out for this little fellow he's got some zing to his sting. You may have a reaction to his sting with itching, rash, welt or all three. When the're not curled up, they look like walking toothbrush's :-) This is a Tussock moth/caterpillar, or larvae stage.
Another M1911 pistol! This is the 'commando compact'. It is available in 10mm auto and 45 ACP
A bit rough on some points, but i think it is one of the best 1911 pistols i have ever made. Maybe the best.

I'm able to give access to the free pattern! This is the Compact Grocery Tote from Lisa Lam's new book called "A Bag For All Reasons".
I had to use that cockpit again!

The new Audi A3 1.4 TFSI Sedan, boasting 122 bhp and 200 NM of torque starting from 1,400 rpm. It is, undoubtedly, the best premium luxury sedan in the current Category A COE band.
Here's my Canon Micro Compact. These were sold from 1984 and I found this in a thrift store in the UK for around $2. Came with a detachable side flash unit and a manual too.
It's small and easy to carry around but makes a fair amount of noise when the shutter fires and then autowinds the film to the next frame. Also the focus distance indicator shows you the focus after the shot was taken. Can't really see what the point is of that.
Sharp 35mm f/2.8 lens and took some crisp shots even in the NYC rain, see the set!
Definitely the best film compact I have ever owned, and probably one of the best film compacts ever. Got mine from The Camera Workshop at Peninsula Plaza -- once I had it in my hands, it was clear just how well-built it was, and how well maintained it had been by its previous owner. A nice tight package with superb mechanical finishing.
Just got back my first roll of film from the developer, and I'm really impressed by the sharpness, colour rendition and exposure of the pics. The most annoying thing about this camera is the fact that you have to re-set the camera's flash settings every time you switch it on if you want to fire without the flash, but I found the flash really well implemented -- it seems to nail the exposure every time, and practically none of my shots suffered from that hard contrast look that typical on-body flashes give you.
Sersa's new grading and compacting machine R22RD-1 in metre gauge on standard gauge transport. Switzerland, October 16, 2022.
Shooting film in the old Compact 35. It’s not been the same since it got wet. (Don’t ask) which killed the light meter so I’m running a seperate light meter from AliExpress which works well. For a camera that’s over 50 years old it works
Customized Canik-55 Stingray-C with a Streamlight TLR-1s, Remora mag pouch, one-off competition sight set, Cajun Gun Works (CGW) race hammer, trigger and sear upgrades, and Tungsten Cerakote.
The name says it all, This is trully a deluxe camera, very classical in design, but very high quality in terms of build and performance. Everything one needs to take high quality pictures is present: Fujinon lens, automatic parallax correction and a feature inherited from the V series, the focusing is done by means of a wheel, next to the viewfinder, very neat!
In spite of its boxy design, this 1959 White 1500 Compact looked good dressed in the postal blue and white cab with red stripe. Notice the Civil Defense sticker on the door! This photo is one of many in the library of The Western Reserve Historical Society.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: While I currently own exactly one Angel Face Barbie and one original dress for her, I did not get the two together. Rather, by sheer luck I was able to reunite my beloved Angel Face Barbie with this lovely dress. I got my Barbie in the late fall of 2011, wearing a modern Barbie fashion pack from 2009 (which actually looked pretty darn good on her since the green in the scarf complimented Barbie's bold makeup). At the beginning of the following flea market season, sometime in June 2012, I acquired this dress on another 1980s Barbie. I can no longer remember which of my other dolls was wearing this dress when I got it, but it had to have been one of the ladies I adopted from the same bin. I instantaneously recognized this outfit, as I had been hoping to dress my seductive Angel Face Barbie in her original gown eventually. I love it when I am able to reunite a doll with her factory ensemble, especially when the wait is really not all that long!
