Sin pretensiones estéticas de ningún tipo, pero motivado por la deuda técnica y el afecto instrumental, hago aquí homenaje a la que fue, para mí, allá por los años 70, una compañera extraordinaria, una magnífica cámara y una captadora de imágenes en blanco y negro y, sobre todo de diapositivas en color de gran perfección. La Olimpus 35 RC fue y es una verdadera joyita, una telemétrica compacta de tamaño reducido, que rondó la excelencia en su elaboración: ergonómica, sólida en metal y con múltiples prestaciones. Con la emoción del recuerdo, confieso que en ella se registraron paisajes, situaciones especiales, momentos románticos y escenas familiares que hoy perduran con una calidad envidiable. Vaya mi reconocimiento a la marca, al modelo y a la cámara concreta que hoy descansa en un anaquel de mi casa.

Overexposing an expired Fujichrome Velvia 50 to -1 stop. The expiration is dated June 2012.
Note: I'm not expecting that the entire film roll is still fine (surprisingly!!) because I've accidentally dropped the camera and its cover opened in one of my bicycle rides.
Vanmiddag met de compactcamera van mijn vriendin een nieuw fotopunt vlakbij Oelde uitgeprobeerd. Lang niet slecht moet ik zeggen. De eerste trein was een keteltrein bestaande uit Millet en GATX wagens richting Botlek. Op blokafstand hierachter werd het interessanter (zie volgende foto) 28 oktober 2021.

Managed to catch this neat angle of the light hitting Bentonville before some security guards came and asked us to not hang around the parking garage for too long. They were nice fellas, but it's kind of annoying that they felt the need to tell me not to hang around a public parking garage for more than a few minutes.
Also, it definitely seemed to put them in a better mood when they saw I was just using an old and tiny point and shoot camera 😂. I can only imagine that if I'd have had my D780 or F5 out, they may have been less friendly.
