About a month ago I got to meet Korean street photographer, Jun Hyung Kim . I first met him through Flickr on one of the Ricoh GR groups and we finally got to meet in-person. He took several hours of his personal time to take me to different parts of the city. We also had some very short but meaningful conversations through messaging about street photography and very interesting to hear his opinions.

Some language barriers but street photography, GR and 90mm were our common language. I still owe him for the beer, fried octopus, and coffee he didnt let me pay for ㅋㅋ . If you could do a favor to check his photostream and give him a follow, you won’t be disappointed.

This was taken during my most recent trip to Catalina Island, CA. A very fun and beautiful place to explore, though I wish I had more time to take photos. The only camera I brought to this trip was the GR III. An amazing and small compact camera.

It was odd to see trees still golden and such an extreme amount of snow, for October.
