Blending photography and AI, the piece vividly portrays ferocious flames and suffocating smoke engulfing vast areas, leaving thousands displaced and communities in ruins. This catastrophe was a disaster compounded by a failure of leadership in California, where insufficient preparation and inadequate responses left many vulnerable in the face of an unstoppable inferno. The artwork reflects the heartbreak, anger, and resilience sparked by this tragedy.
