Joseph Iosua of ASCC welcomes Infotech American Samoa Managing Director Tim Montgomery to the college. Montgomery spoke yesterday to a large audience of students and faculty about Infotech's plans to establish a call center in American Samoa.

CCBC's ASL Interpreting Program has been training interpreters since 1983! This State-wide program prepares students for entry level work as sign language interpreters. Interpreters are in high demand as Maryland is home to more than a million deaf and hard of hearing people. The Interpreting program has a 99% job placement rate of its graduates!

The MUS 296 - Samoan Music Workshop - class presented a display of traditional instruments on 7/21/10. To get a nice close up shot, I had to lure this group away from their exhibit, which is why you don't see any instruments in this first picture.
