The picture I took portrays what my community looks like to me. My environment and people around me are making me scared for the future. I don't know what to expect and the best way I could portray that was with a picture of a demonic entity hiding in the dark. I'm scared that something unexpected like that will pop up in my life and I will be really scared to do anything about it. The subject in the picture is myself. The idea came to me from this really old TV show I used to watch a lot as a child. It had a villain that looked a lot like myself in this picture. I used to be horrified of him! So I thought the best way to express my fear of my scary community would be to show one of my major fears from the past. My light source in this picture was the candle I'm holding. I wanted my face to be the focus so I put the candle near my face to give it that creepy effect.
Portfolio: This is another picture that I'm really proud of. Unlike the tower picture, this one is solely focused on the light in my hand rather than the angle. It took a long time to get a decent picture while holding a candle because sometimes the reflection caused issues. This also required a lot of effort before finally coming together.

In this Feb. 26, 2015 file photo, solar panels that are part of the Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association's community gardens are shown in Rockford, Minn. Plunging solar power costs are leading U.S. electric companies to capture the sun just when President Donald Trump is moving to boost coal and other fossil fuels. Major electric utilities are moving into smaller-scale solar farming, a niche developed by local cooperatives and non-profits. (AP Photo/Jim Mone, File)
