This is Mr.Octopus! Mr.Octopus is, as you can see, responsible for the production of clouds! Clouds aren't the product of evaporated humidity. No! They are definitely produced by Mr.Octopus. I've just taken that picture of him as a proof! Please help me to distribute this! It's true. And the stuff your teachers used to tell you is wrong! It was the Cloud-Rain-Mafia who published this silly story in every book, because they wanted two make millions of money with these books. But it's just not true! Clouds don't existe of humidity! No!

So please help me and the reputation of Mr.Octopus and hope that I won't be killed by the Cloud-Rain-Mafia

In term 5, the Packaging class was challenged to brand and attract consumers to buy their products off the shelf.

Poster Design for the University of Huddersfield, UK, Arts & Design guest lecturer program 2010.

In this new elective course, MIAD Communication Design students work in groups together and role-play as Graphic Designers, Stylists, Photographers, Photo Assistants, Writers, and of course- Art Directors. By working with an existing publication look, students study the impact of Art Director and designers such as Brodovitch and Warhol, while considering the publication's look and feel, typography treatment and styling cues.

A sample of the work done in the Communication Design class- Packaging Design. Students were asked to name, storytell, and repackage an existing multi-function all-in-one utility tool. They also vacuum formed their own packages.

Finally, I managed to get a brush and some colour, and an Edding (of course!) and started to paint again! It feels like a relief! Painting! Like back in the good old days. I did a lot of mistakes lately, so anyone involved, please forgive me my stupidness!

Maybe this is some sort of re-start. Don't know, as I am obsessed with re-starts.

New week. new chance. Maybe the last, but I definitely will manage to do this!

This painting is part of a new project called: Lost & Found

PHP specialise in wheel chair back support for people with severe spinal conditions. They needed a website designed and built as a resource for spinal conditions and to demonstrate how their back supports for wheel chairs aid the users comfort.

Caboodle Media came up with an innovative design for the site to reflect the innovative product that PHP were promoting. We produced 3D streaming videos to show how the back support works and made a condition chart that related the spinal conditions to the different positions of the back support.

I didn't expect them to turn out that way. As a matter of fact I am always working in front of a screen, so you get a different feeling and a different perception over the years. So it was a whole new experience to hold your ownwork in your hands and see people laughing at it, enjoying them or condemning them. A whole new, but great experience!

If you want to buy one just hit me an e-mail: mischklang@mischklang.com

They all are limited to 5 pieces only and come with a hand-signed postcard and loads of stickers.

If you take a precise look at the background you might see one of the prints I haven't release yet!

The mainreason I was doing a solo show, was this wall, I was asked to be painting. It's like 4m x 10m huge! Believe me I was totally shocked, amazed and excited when my art-teacher asked me to do it! What more can you get? Being allowed to paint the entrance hall of the gallery/school legally! THIS IS SIMPLY AMAZING!

It took 7 days à 10 hours to get it done, but it ain't like work, it was like birthday, christmas and 10000000 Euro jackpot in one! Thanks to everyone who made it to the show! It was like the best day of my life! HAY!

The intentions of the painting are not very profound! It's painting for painting's saked. Just for the amusement of everyone (or the not-amusement for a few!) It's getting MonsterBusiness into Stuttgart, to introduce the people to this new kind of design/art-direction! Like on a party where people meet people (or monsters) I hope I did a good job! Monsters for live! No more words to say

A long long time ago...

I did really feel bored, so I took the opportunity of my Illustrator and just let the geometric forms roll. That's the result!

Really unmonsterish. And without any sense.
