Doing visual communications like this, I favor a hand drawn poster than render work with paints -- want to get the reader visualizing the information before anything else.
It seemed a nice idea to have a little family get-together for JJ - a nice relaxed affair!
Sadly Tim's Mum and sister were unable to make it to our party, but it was nice to have my Mum, Matt and girlfriend Sophie here.

Always nice to see my two boys getting on so well, lol!! ^_^
This is a bit of a teaser really! This weekend we went to see JJ's end of year/course exhibition in his university. They had these screens up on the pillars, and Matt set some of them to show JJ's page!! The exhibition was to show the best of their final project, and it was lovely to look around and see what all the students had been up to, and also great to catch up with both boys at the same time!
It's so hard to believe it's the end of JJ's third year in Cardiff and he'll soon be home from uni for good! I'll explain more about his project in the next upload.

Comm Prom 2k15
Prom party to celebrate the graduation of her fellow communication designers. Congrats y'all, ya made it!
My name is Steffen, I am a 19 year old streetculture-addict from Germany.
I grew up with skateboarding and graffiti which lead to an huge addiction concerning design toys, graphic design, skateboarding, fashion (especially sneakers and tees as in t-shirts), art and the whole streetculture scene.
Right now you are looking at something which can be described as my internet blog and online portfolio. Here’s the place where you can find everything I design, sketch, doodle, paint and photograph. Maybe I am just a small town dude, the nice boy next door or (in your eyes) just another design-wannabe, but what I definitely am, is a passionated streetculture-addict.
Keep that in mind! HAY!
this was made for the ECI grad portfolio review, but it also functions as a print test for my final portfolio to send off to the three grad schools. there are six more pieces to go into the final, as well as a writing sample booklet, letter of intent and process booklet.
So I am having dinner with an oil executive and he says "...now, I hold Mike responsible...". he was referring to all of the addled phone users who are missing out on the life that is so evidently taking place, right in front of them.
And he wasn't just referring to human behavior in restaurant environments that we see so commonly. Nor did he mean the 'time wasting' which can be understandable in: subways, airports, and train stations. In this particular case, he was plainly disappointed in (all of the) people who seem so unaware of the physical world. Like these museum visitors in the midst of the terra-cotta warriors - the quarter-scale ones - that are a wonder of the world.
Talk about putting the ethical shoe on the other foot. Maybe I should try having dinner with someone from Goldman Sachs soon.

Kalua Box Design
GAME OVERVIEW
In the tropical island of Kalua 5 religions compete to become the one and only. You will take the role of one of the 5 Gods that the Kaluans follow and will reward your followers with good harvests, nice weather and general well-being, or punish them with famine, epidemics, floods, earthquakes and other disasters if they don't pray to you enough. Don't forget though that there are 4 other Gods in the island and the Kaluans can't distinguish where all their bad luck is coming from...
Make your religion the one and only by converting followers from other religions into your own. The game continues until this condition is met.

This is Mr.Funghi surfing tor Mrs.Volcano for a cup of tea. Mr.Whale is watching the whole spectacle.
I guess that could be the artwork for a first MonsterFabrik shirt. What do you think?
Do you know that you can discover the gender of Volcanos by looking at the ears?
Female Volcanos do always have ears. Male Volcanos don't do so.
So if you'll ever see a Volcano don't forget to look for the ears. It could be a female Volcano and then you have to treat her very well (because you do so with ladies, don't you?).

Have you ever realized that there is a second reality in which all trees are blue? Well if you haven't then you definitely know now! So welcome to the jungle of reality and second realities.
in japan, it takes three people to drive a bullet train to its destination - communicating with hand signals + voice commands for redundancy, that must lead to safety, i guess.
the white gloved men work in concert as one signal begets the next one and so forth.

May I introduce Rock'n'Roll Grandpa?!
This fella here is my grandpa, or at least the portrait of how he wants to be seen (in reality he ain't a rockstar at all).
This fella here loves rock-music and has a huge hat collection. The monster surrounding him are the Rock-Gang, which is a very dangerous rock'n'roll gang! So watch out! They might rock you down!HAY!
This here is the result of me wanting to draw humans. What do you thing?
Haggis Box art, Haggis Card
GAME OVERVIEW
Haggis, is a climbing game in the same family as Zheng Fen and Big Two. It borrows and recombines elements from its parent games (card combinations, bombs, scoring for cards in hand, scoring for cards collected in tricks) and mixes in equally distributed wild cards and betting that you'll be the first to empty your hand of cards.
