As a matter of fact, I don't have time these days! Right now I gotta take a shower and get to the second Mischklang after show party within two days. So forgive me, but I'll post the photos of the show (which was amazing!) tomorrow! PROMISED! In the meantime check out this little fella, I did for the LaFraise Bacardi Limón Contest, which was unfortunately not accepted, because I couldn't figure out how to change the colorscheme to Patone Solid Coated. (Can somebody explain that to me?! PLEASE!) So right now you're seeing LemonBoy in an early stage. Acutally, to be honest, he rocked the exhibtion, dressed with his superfunkyfresh Ray-Ban-Fake-Sunglasses, Lemon-Crew-Baseball-Cap and his Nike Dunk High Lemon Crew Colourway Sneakers! More news from LemonBoy and the exhititon, tomorrow! So stay tuned and don't forget to take your umbrellas with you, it might be raining tonight! HAY

Just had this idea while I had to learn history. So I took a short five-minutes-break to do this little illustration.

I am just not happy with the 'Fly with us'. I'll change it if i got time some day.

Kalua Cards

GAME OVERVIEW

In the tropical island of Kalua 5 religions compete to become the one and only. You will take the role of one of the 5 Gods that the Kaluans follow and will reward your followers with good harvests, nice weather and general well-being, or punish them with famine, epidemics, floods, earthquakes and other disasters if they don't pray to you enough. Don't forget though that there are 4 other Gods in the island and the Kaluans can't distinguish where all their bad luck is coming from...

Make your religion the one and only by converting followers from other religions into your own. The game continues until this condition is met.

Once a year, the great rainbow-throwing Monsterhill walks down the valley to the sea to take a long bath. The Pyramid-Twins are following him and are watching every step, because they don't want him to be drowned. Which is a possible risk because of his weight (Weightwatchers didn't help him; and he does not like diets!). And every time Monsterhill takes his bath his friends Pyramid-Twins, the Old Hill, the Sun and Strechboy and his friend Heartinacube are joining him! That's what I call friendship! HAY!

Finally! My first collaboration with Toronto-based artist Astro Marus! It was really, really funny to do this one!

Since my first Flickr-day we support each other, comment each other's work and check out each other's photostream.

That's why it was just a matter of time till We Fly Together!. Now’s the right time!

Must have issue for students looking for help with portfolio advice.

Notes on issue / Editor - Nick Carson:

Having talent isn’t enough: in a competitive marketplace, you need to sell yourself hard. Whether it takes the form of a beautiful black book, an eye-catching website or a sexy showreel, building a stunning portfolio is ultimately about doing justice to your work (and yourself) in a very short space of time.

We’ve covered all the media you need in this must-have issue, from an enlightening look inside some best-practice folios to an in-depth masterclass for building the perfect digital showcase – not to mention 60 essential dos and don’ts to avoid the classic pitfalls of self-promotion, and a rather useful snapshot of the best online creative communities to get your work seen by the right people.

We show you how to use Flash and Flickr to create a website that updates itself, and with Apple’s non-Flash-compatible touchscreen gizmos lining the pockets of creatives everywhere, there’s how to present your work on an iPhone or iPad too – so you can nail that impromptu pitch wherever you are.

Next issue we explore one of our most enduringly popular topics, with an issue packed from cover to cover with typographical techniques and inspiration. Whether you design using type, create typefaces or just love illustrating letterforms, it’s for you. For now, enjoy the issue – and good luck with that portfolio.
