Uganda and the wider Eastern Africa region has lately been experiencing the effects of climate change. This house was devastated by a mud slide leaving its occupants homeless.
Climate is one of Panos Eastern Africa's key cross-cutting themes.Working with a various stakeholders, Panos Eastern Africa seeks to build the capacity of local people to voice their concerns on climate change, livelihoods, food security and agricultural development.
Ecco cosa è successo il 20, 21 e 22 marzo al Circolo Filologico Milanese tra talk, giochi, interviste e live previsti per un’intensa 3 giorni all'insegna del design.
Anche per quest’anno POLI.design era presente con alcuni tra i migliori studenti dei propri Master e Corsi che si sono cimentati in ben 2 workshop live.
Il primo workshop ha visto il coinvolgimento degli studenti dei Master Universitari in Brand Communication e Service Design che hanno lavorato al brief lanciato da Expo in città: divisi in 4 squadre capitanate da tutor specializzati in branding, i partecipanti si sono sfidati nella reinterpretazione creativa del logo di Expo in città.
Fabio Iodice, Isabella Pastorino, Davide Carlà e Ciro Avino: questi i nomi degli studenti del team vincitore che ha lavorato, con la supervisione dei coach Sara Bianchi e Andrea Zambardi, alla migliore idea creativa che verrà sviluppata all’interno della linea di merchandising ufficiale di Expo in città.
Sono tutti studenti del Master Universitario in Industrial Design Engineering and Innovation, invece, i giovani designer che si sono cimentati nel workshop SAN CARLO per l'elaborazione di una nuova idea di espositore da banco per chips e snack prodotti dall'azienda leader del settore.
Domenica 22 marzo, giorno di chiusura del festival, è stato annunciato il progetto vincitore anche di questo secondo workshop, realizzato da Alessandro Dadone, Valerio Lupia e Carmen Garnia Limpias con la supervisione di Philippe Tabet.

Scavenge Challenge - Assignment for March is COMMUNICATION. This is a broad topic, and subjects could be as diverse as television, books, a Morse code key, fiber-optic transmission cables or any other means we use to communicate thoughts and ideas. That said, there are a couple of additional requirements for your end-of-month collage:
1) one or more colour images
2) one or more black-and-white images
3) one or more close-up/macro images
4) one or more high-contrast images (dark blacks, bright whites)
5) one or more shots post-processed in a "vintage" style
Please note that some images may fill more than one category, e.g., you could have a vintage high-contrast black-and-white close-up. I'm sure you can have fun with that!
Everyone that have siblings must have experience fighting with their siblings. It usually happen between children and teenagers. The cause of the fight mostly because nobody are willing to give in to each other. It can also because one side goes too far with his teasing that caused the other to be enraged. today i had a lunch with my six previous classmetes of English class plus two babies. the two children can chat in toddler words that we cannot catch up.
