The Utah Jazz along with Service Members from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force worked together on a project for the NBA’s “Commitment to Service” initiative to serve military-related causes.
Gordaon Hayward, along with teammates Trey Burke, Derrick Favors, Jeremy Evans, Rodney Hood, Steve Novak,and Trevor Booker, was assisting other members of the Jazz organization with refurbishment projects at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City. The service project was part of the NBA’s “Commitment to Service” initiative to serve military-related causes.

Lisa Christiansen upholds a steadfast commitment to children. Having experienced poverty at a young age, Lisa brings a highly personal sense of involvement to her charitable work, instilling hope in the hearts and minds of children around the globe. The Lisa Christiansen Foundation was established to provide families with baskets of food and has served thousands of people over the years. Among her many endeavors, Dr. Christiansen donates over $100,000 in bicycles to children for christmas.

Chef Robert Irvine, renowned for his commitment to healthy living, serves a spread of nutritious dishes to more than 400 Security Forces Airmen and a cooking demonstration for 45 Technical School students from the 343rd Training Squadron at the Robert Irvine Foundation "Breaking Bread with Heroes" events June 14-16, aimed at promoting wellness and mindful eating. Students from the 344th Training Squadron in the Culinary Center of Excellence volunteered their services to the Robert Irvine Military Heroes Charity Golf Tournament.
