Where we stand: global commitments,
implementation of NDCs in Mediterranean countries Plenary Session 1
This session will be an introductory session to the Sixth Mediterranean Forest Week and present the current situation regarding the role of Mediterranean forests in global commitments (including targets on LDN and Aichi targets) and the role of LULUCF in implementing the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) of the Mediterranean countries.
Using a concrete example, this session will show how the three Rio Conventions can be complementary
The Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), is hosting the Sixth edition of the Mediterranean Forest Week (VIth MWF) at the Grand Hills Hotel, Broumana, on 1–5 April 2019. The weeklong event brings together policy and decision makers, forest administrators, researchers, practitioners, donors, civil society organizations, and social and environmental based non–governmental organizations to share and promote the use of forest–based solutions to assist Mediterranean countries in the implementation of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement.

Fish crow fishing on Watauga Lake. I caught one good single pass. I wish I had some more detail in the face but this is the classic blow the lights or lose the dark situation.
Feb. 8, 2020. East Boston, MA.
East Boston residents and allies protest for affordability commitments and displacement protections in anticipation of the vote on the redevelopment plan for Suffolk Downs, a former race-track, by the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA).
A march through East Boston drew residents and supporters in a final-hour effort to ensure that the 10,000 housing units on the neighborhood's horizon will help current residents, instead of fueling the trend of luxury development and displacement.
Organizers hope to build public pressure on the BPDA, the developer of the old Suffolk Downs racetrack, HYM Investment Group, and Boston's Mayor Marty Walsh. The march will call for 50% of the planned housing to be affordable for households earning 30% of the Area Median Income. Protesters will also call for protections from displacement for residents of the surrounding East Boston community - a largely low-income, Latin American immigrant population.
The march was led by a new coalition of East Boston area community groups called PUEBLO (People United for East Boston Liberation and Organizing), which includes City Life/Vida Urbana, GreenRoots, Neighbors United For A Better East Boston, MassCOSH, Stand for Democracy, Cosecha Massachusetts, Center for Cooperative Development and Solidarity-CCDS and ZUMIX.

time i got serious!!! i am sending these cards out to my newly booked clients - with a few details of the actual day in question, such as date, time, place and how long i am to shoot for them etc... thought this would be a greater way for the clients to know that "hey" i am committed... i want to post (the old fashioned way) it in an envelope and add a few cardies :)
have seriously been thinking about making contracts - but its not common practice in denmark... i will be looking into making one soon though, and just add it in the little pack...
templates bought through www.flickr.com/photos/shutterblog/ - and i find them cheap and easy to use :) so, yeah.... couldnt be bothered doing more designs from scratch.... might have to revisit the shopping cart sooner than laters... i had to remove the circles on the business card - and changed the layout of the back of the card too - replaced the circle with a mini foto...

Dropped: Just outside Hosmer library on 36th Street, Minneapolis
Number of Toys: 1
Made by: Beeper Bebe (Holly)
Dropped by: Mr Beeper (my husband)
When: January 31, 2009
Other: One of my personal commitments I made for the new year is to do a plushie drop for the Toy Society every month for this whole year--since I love the idea of the Toy Society so much and want to support what they are doing. Since I design plush toys, I thought I could also use this as an opportunity to make some designs by OTHER plush artists, rather than making another one of my own. This is the first drop in my 12 month commitment--my January drop. This is a sweet little Polly doll by Nest Studio, made from her pattern in the book, Softies. It is made from a combo of new and reclaimed materials and is stuffed with eco-craft (an enviromentally friendly fiberfill made from corn).

Erin and Jill are just fantastic. Definitely two of the most relaxed and laid-back ladies I've ever met, it was obvious how loved they were by all their guests! They had their commitment ceremony aboard the Sea Princess, which set sail out of Bar Harbor, and then everyone headed to The Neighboor House right down the road. Intimate and lovely!
Age is just a number. As long as you have the motivation to dance, anyone can do it. You can always consider Zumba as a hobby or motivation to keep you fit and healthy. Consider making friends in classes as well to boost that commitment.
Rules of third, shallow depth of view
Artist Sawyer Rose speaks about this month's theme, Commitment, through a compassionate look at a diverse group of women and how they spend the hours in their days. The innovative Carry The Stones project takes a data-driven and interactive approach to the little-seen balance of paid and unpaid labor.
