The Coatesville VA Hospital Historic District is significant for its association with the federal government's commitment to the health care of World War I and World War II veterans. As defined in the United States Second Generation Veterans Hospitals Multiple Property Documentation Form, the Coatesville VA Hospital Historic District is an excellent, intact example of a Period II neuropsychiatric Second Generation Veterans Hospital. Neuropsychiatric hospitals are a sub-type of Second Generation Veterans Hospitals. Period II includes those veterans hospitals constructed from the late 1920s through 1950, the date of the last veterans hospital constructed utilizing the designs developed for the Second Generation Veterans Hospitals. The Coatesville VA Hospital Historic District exhibits characteristics commonly associated with Period II veterans neuropsychiatric hospitals, including: large campus size that originally accommodated farming operations conducted by the patients as a form of therapy; a monumental main building serving as the focal point of the historic district; H-shape buildings constructed around courtyards that were specifically designed to house neuropsychiatric patients depending upon the extent of their illness; the hierarchal use of Classical Revival and Colonial Revival architectural decorative elements on the exteriors of the buildings, creating a cohesive architectural campus setting; the use of connecting corridors between buildings containing patient wards and services; and grouping buildings into three clusters depending on their original function, such as administration/patient services, staff residences, and maintenance/utility buildings. The Coatesville VA Hospital Historic District is eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) under Criterion A at the state level of significance in the area of Politics and Government because of its impact on the local community and veterans throughout southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Delaware, and northeastern Maryland. The historic district is also eligible under Criterion A at the state level of significance in the area of Health and Medicine because of the physical evidence the hospital provides concerning health care offered to veterans of the mid-Atlantic region, primarily veterans of World War I and World War II. The Coatesville VA Hospital Historic District is also eligible under Criterion C in the area of Architecture at the state level of significance because the Coatesville VA Hospital is an intact example of a Period II Second Generation Veterans Hospital incorporating elements of classical revival architectural styles that were nationally popular in the early to mid-twentieth century. The use of quoins, porticos, pediments, balustrades, pilasters with Corinthian capitals, wreaths with festoons, dentil molding, and the dominant cupola of the main building (Resource 1 , 1930) reflects the influence of the Colonial Revival and Classical Revival styles. The hospital exhibits standardized designs developed for federal veterans hospitals constructed from the late 1920s through 1950. Construction began on the Coatesville VA Hospital in July 1929. Additional buildings and structures continued to be constructed within the historic district throughout the twentieth century. It was designated a neuropsychiatric hospital serving the mid-Atlantic region and continued to serve as a neuropsychiatric hospital throughout the period of significance. The period of significance and assessment of contributing and noncontributing resources for this nomination are based on the historic district's significance within the historic contexts developed in the United States Second Generation Veterans Hospitals Multiple Property Documentation Form (MPDF). Resources constructed after 1950, and thus considered noncontributing within this nomination, may possess significance under themes not fully developed as part of the MPDF. Resources located within the medical center campus may be eligible or contributing for other associations or contexts under National Register Criteria A-D, or recent buildings/structures may be eligible under Criteria Consideration G, for resources of exceptional importance that are less than 50 years of age..

Next It was The Historic Grand Prix Cars and with a Massive Turn out for them it looks like Another Cracking Race to see from Start till Finish. Lets see who came out on Top.
In First Place was (Sam Wilson) in his Lotus 18 with a Lap Time of 1:39.384 and a Top Speed of 86.55mph. Amazing Work Sam Showing Colin Chapman How it Should be Done. He would have been Proud to Witness that Victory.
In Second Place was (Peter Horsman) in his Lotus 18/21 with a Lap Time of 1:41.296 and A Top Speed of 84.90mph. A Fantastic Drive by Peter to take Second Place in the Race.

Historic Road Sports took to the Track next and with some Legendary Cars from the Likes of Lotus Morgan and TVR it was Time to see who Had Stormed to Victory in the Last Race and Taken the Victory.
In First Place was (William Plant) in his Morgan Plus 8 with A Lap Time of 1:45.768 and A Top Speed of 70.67mph. Congratulations William on the Victory it was so Good to See a Morgan Take First Place while Watching this Exciting Race. An Amazing Drive.

The Arora Trophy Roared onto the Grand Prix Circuit Next with Powerful V8 Engines thease Racing Cars could make the Ground Shake as they Thunder their way around the Race Track. Lets see who Managed to take that All Important Victory for their Final Race.
In First Place was (Martin Stretton) in his March 712 with a Lap Time of 1:25.976 and A Top Speed of 101mph. A Very Brave and Committed drive from Martin to Take Victory, Really Pushing the March to its Limits and hanging onto the Lead thought the Race.
In Second Place was (Mathew Wrigley) in his March 782 with a Lap Time of 1:25.127 and A Top Speed of 100.96mph. Another Incredible Driver Taking his Machinery to New heights and Keeping the March Name Alive in Historic Racing. Amazing Work Mathew.

In First Place was (Andy Newall) in his Chevron B6 with A Lap Time of 1:38.258 and A Top Speed of 83.84mph. Very Well Driven and Raced by Andy Showcasing the Power of the Chevron and taking it too its Limits in terms of Raw Speed and Performance.
In Second Place was the Duo of (Jackson S and Jackson C) in their Lenham P70 with A Lap Time of 1:38.008 and A Top Speed of 83.45mph. Fantastic Work to The Two Jacks who Really showed what Working Together Can Achieve during A Race. Well Done

In Second Place was (John Davidson) in his Lotus Elan S1 with A Lap Time of 1:46.052 And A Top Speed of 72.16mph. Amazing Work John Keeping that Lotus on the Tarmac and Putting on One Hell of a Race for Everyone. Amazing Job.

The Final Race of The Day was Here and The Historic Touring Car Club did not Disappoint with Lotus Cortina's Mini Cooper S's and Ford Mustangs This was going to be a Final Battle of Titans. Lets See Who Managed to Take that Last Checkered Flag of the Day.
In First Place was (Steve Soper) in his Ford Mustang with A Lap Time of 1.47.084 and A Top Speed of 71.51mph. Awesome Drive Steve Fantastic to see that He Still has it in him After all The Years of Racing.
In Second Place was (Rob Fen) in his Ford Mustang with A Lap Time of 1:49.031 and A Top Speed of 70.93mph. Amazing Work Rob Pushing that Mustang Far and Wide to Hang onto that Second Place. Excellent Drive.
In Third Place was (Mark Martin in his Ford Lotus Cortina with A Lap Time of 1:49.905 and A Top Speed of 70.70mph. Very Well Done Mark Great Driving and Even a Wheel in the Air on Some Occasions Heading onto the Grand Prix Loop. What A Sight that Was to See.

At the fourth Ukraine – Nordic Summit in Reykjavik on 28 October, the Prime Ministers of Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden and the President of Ukraine issued the following statement:
I. We, the leaders of the Nordic countries reaffirm our unwavering commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity and security. Our comprehensive support for Ukraine is steadfast and will continue for as long as it is necessary. The Nordic countries have thus far provided Ukraine with more than 20 EUR billion in military, financial and humanitarian support. Substantial amounts have been allocated to meet the pressing needs ahead of the coming winter, including the winter package focusing on energy, social resilience and humanitarian support, delivered during the Nordic Baltic Foreign Ministers' recent visit to Odesa. The Nordic countries will continue to seek new avenues for supporting Ukraine and its people, while it continues to fight off Russia's aggression.
II. Ukraine’s fight for its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders directly contributes to Euro-Atlantic security. The Nordic countries attach special importance to developing deep, comprehensive and long-term security cooperation with Ukraine and ensuring a secure future for both Ukraine and the Nordic countries for generations to come. The Nordic countries underscore their commitment to ensuring full and efficient implementation of the bilateral agreements on security cooperation and long-term support in close coordination with Ukraine. The bilateral agreements on security cooperation and long-term support between Ukraine and each of the Nordic countries serve as a solid ground for strengthening their mutual security. The Nordic countries will continue to assist Ukraine through military, financial, and humanitarian support in the framework of these agreements. The Nordic countries and Ukraine welcome the Ukraine Compact presented on the margins of the NATO Summit in Washington D.C. in 2024 providing a framework for supporting Ukraine in the short, medium and long term. The Nordic countries and Ukraine support the G7 Joint Declaration of Support for Recovery and Reconstruction of Ukraine.
III. The Nordic countries underline their interest in the further development of cooperation with Ukraine's defence industry. The Nordic countries have so far pledged EUR 195 million in procurements through Ukraine's defence industry. Extraordinary revenues from immobilised Russian assets could be one possible source for funding such initiatives. The Nordic countries welcome the agreement on the use of extraordinary revenues stemming from Russia’s immobilised assets to establish a macro-financial assistance loan to Ukraine and maintain that Russia’s assets should remain immobilised until Russia ceases its war of aggression and compensates Ukraine for the damage caused by war. The Nordic countries will continue the pressure on Russia and to limit its ability to wage its war of aggression against Ukraine, including through sanctions and international measures against the shadow fleet transporting Russian oil used to circumvent sanctions.
IV. The Nordic countries are determined to continue to support and enhance the defence capabilities of the Defence Forces of Ukraine in their fight for security and peace in Europe. The Nordic countries already made substantial contributions through bilateral and multilateral donations, including ammunition of various calibres, as well as efforts to strengthen European ammunition production capacity, such as ASAP, and national decisions to increase heavy ammunition production.
V. The Nordic countries support Ukraine's Victory Plan as presented by President Zelenskyy. We will work to contribute to its implementation. We will also work to strengthen Ukraine's position, ahead of a second Peace Summit towards a just and lasting peace based on international law, including the UN Charter, that respects Ukraine's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
VI. We reiterate that Ukraine's future place is in NATO. We will continue to support Ukraine on its irreversible path to full Euro-Atlantic integration, including NATO membership. We support a greater role for NATO in the coordination of security assistance and training and welcome the establishment of NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine. We are convinced that Ukraine's future membership will be of significant added value to the European Union and contribute to peace, stability and prosperity in Europe. We welcome the opening of EU accession negotiations with Ukraine and have stepped up our joint efforts to support Ukraine's EU accession.
