McAlester Army Ammunition Plant held a change of command ceremony on June 21, 2017. COL Sean M. Herron relinquished command to COL Joseph D. Blanding, who arrived in southeastern Oklahoma from the Joint Munitions Command, where he was the Chief of Staff. He is the 35th commander of the ammunition production facility that was commissioned as Naval Ammunition Depot, McAlester, on May 20, 1943, and the 18th commander since it was turned over to the U.S. Army. Congratulations to Command Sgt. Maj. Jeremy Hall on his retirement from the Delaware Army National Guard. On July 13, 2025, at the Bethany Beach Training Site in Bethany Beach, Delaware, CSM Hall attended his final formation, concluding 38 years of honorable and dedicated service to the state and nation.

Throughout his career, Hall served in a variety of leadership roles across the Delaware Army National Guard, culminating in his final assignment with the 193rd Regiment Training Institute. During the ceremony, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and presented with the Delaware State Seal, the Order of the Griffin, a U.S. flag, and several gifts in recognition of his decades of selfless service.

His wife, Master Sgt. Tanya Hall, was also recognized and presented a Certificate of Appreciation for her unwavering support throughout his military career.

Many relatives, friends, and fellow service members gathered to celebrate this milestone and offer their congratulations as CSM Hall begins his next chapter.

Thank you CSM, for your outstanding leadership and commitment as a Citizen Soldier. Congratulations on your retirement!
