Trees at the RAF Bomber Command Memorial in London's Green Park, after 3 growing seasons.
In spring of 2012, 130 Silva Cell frames and 65 Silva Cell decks were installed in the footpath alongside memorial to support these 2 London Plane trees that were planted later that summer.

Active duty and National Guard Soldiers from across the country are evaluated on aircraft command and control procedures Aug. 23, 2018, during the U.S. Army's Rappel Master Course taught by Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute at Fort Pickett, Virginia. A total of 26 Soldiers completed all the course requirements and earned the rappel master certification. The aircraft command and control evaluation requires Soldiers to use proper hand and arm signals, issue commands to the air crew and rappellers and correctly perform all tasks and procedures while overseeing personnel as they rappel from a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. Command Sgt. Maj. Sharon Campbell, the senior enlisted advisor for the 94th Training Division (Force Sustainment), welcomes her new commander, Brig. Gen. McAlester Army Ammunition Plant held a change of command ceremony on June 21, 2017. COL Sean M. Herron relinquished command to COL Joseph D. Blanding, who arrived in southeastern Oklahoma from the Joint Munitions Command, where he was the Chief of Staff. He is the 35th commander of the ammunition production facility that was commissioned as Naval Ammunition Depot, McAlester, on May 20, 1943, and the 18th commander since it was turned over to the U.S. Army. Lt. Gen. Joseph Anderson, the XVIII Airborne Corps Commanding General, and Command Sgt. Maj. Isaia Vimoto, the XVIII Airborne Corps Command Sgt. Maj., visit the troops of the 1st Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment stationed on Camp Novo Selo, Kosovo Oct. 9. LTG Anderson and CSM Vimoto were given a demonstration of the Long Range Surveillance and Civil Disturbance response capabilities of the unit, which is deployed in support of the Kosovo Forces mission.

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala.--July, 22, 2011 – The two largest civilian employers in the Department of Defense, the U.S Army Materiel Command and the Naval Sea System Command, joined forces Friday with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to provide more employment opportunities to service members by expanding their veteran hiring programs.
The agreement between U.S Army Materiel Command and the Naval Sea System Command expanded the veteran hiring programs for both organizations by combining two existing programs.
