Neil Slorance and Colin Campbell, who do a wonderful strip in the Doctor Who comic, signing their own self-published creation Dungeon Fun in Forbidden Planet International, Edinburgh. Originally published in four issues the boys have now put out a collected edition of Dungeon Fun, which is an absolute delight of a read - ideal for younger readers but huge fun for adult readers too. Got it cheap at the comicshop last week. I like the new Thor costume. Finally he got pants and did not just stuff his tunika down his undies.

Seit viereinhalb Jahren arbeitet Cenk Könül im Comicshop Gon – und es ist sicher keine Übertreibung zu behaupten, dass der Laden längst zu seinem zweiten Zuhause geworden ist. Ein Stapel Superman-Hefte war es, die im sechsjährigen Cenk die Liebe zu den gezeichneten Geschichten entflammte. Die Tarkan-Abenteuercomics, eigentlich der Comic-Klassiker aus der Türkei, lassen den 30-Jährigen dagegen bis heute kalt.

Galaxy of Comics shopcat Domino isn't concerned about social distancing

My good friend, James, has opened a cafe-cum-coffee shop-cum-comic book store in our hometown of Lowestoft. Yesterday was my first chance to visit and see what he had done with the place.

Coffee was good too.

Original Brian Bolland T-shirt of the Forbidden Planet store in London. I bought this in the early eighties back when the shop was in Denmark Street. Its a bit small for my chubby like tum these days but its still a cool shirt.
