I had packed up my camera for the night, but I passed this alley on Fulton St. and loved the lighting so much that I had to go back to get a shot.

Hello and good day to every one!!!

I went to Antwerp yesterday and besides doing a bit of sightseeing in this beautiful city I had to stop at my favourite comicshop.

I also visited my favourite Lego Store where I was lucky to find that awesome Lightyear set and a newly stacked BaM stand with lots of minifigparts and pieces!!!

Shop window taken from the street.

Hello everyone, i tried to upload my picture earlier today but my Lego album was vanished, banished better yet utterly vanquished from Flickr... Thank God it's back now....

I had a great day in Antwerp, Belgium where i visited a local comicshop which was also celebrating free Comicbookday to finally make a stop at the Lego store where i saw two Mandolorians at the entrance, so cool!!!

I hope you had a great day as well.

Happy May the 4th to you all!!!

Another photo from the summer of 2015. It turns out after 25 years on Main Street, Lucky's Books and Comics is looking for a new home as that part of the block is going to be redeveloped. Glad I took this photo of the funky little storefront when I did as by 2016 the Shamrock was gone and the building was repainted a much lighter shade of blue.

Mekanik is one of the biggest, and one of the most important comicshops and comic related art galleries in Europe.

Since 1983 Mekanik has carried every European and American comic on the market. Special interest goes to all aspects of the medium, including comics, (art)books, paraphernalia such as statues, graphic novels, dvd, Japanese manga and anime… Basically everything comic-related is

I've never thought that Terminators and Christmas could go together but this T-800 model wearing a Santa hat is making me reconsider that idea.

This life-sized Terminator is on display in the window of Forbidden Planet, an awesome comic book shop on Broadway in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. Stop by to see this Holiday Terminator before you go inside Forbidden Planet to finish off your Christmas shopping. There is so much cool stuff in here that you will probably find lots of things for yourself too!

The mural behind Galaxy of Comics in Lake Balboa, CA. You see it when you park in the lot behind the shop, that is, if you know there is a lot behind the shop, it's easy to overlook.

My contribution to Battles Without Honor and Humanity which will be held on September 15th @ Floating Worlds Comicshop in Portland/OR.

Theme was after the movie of same name from 1966.

My pic i took from some report in a documentary some years ago that the Yakuza letting kids dump american fast food chains crap and teach them to eat proper japanese food. Well, i found that pretty good actually, haha.

The first Forbidden Planet shop in London's 'famous' Denmark Street. I did walk past this spot in 2010 on my way to the latest FP location on Shaftsbury Avenue but I can't remember what it is now (maybe another music shop). This is from the late '70s- early '80s.

Neil Slorance and Colin Campbell, who do a wonderful strip in the Doctor Who comic, signing their own self-published creation Dungeon Fun in Forbidden Planet International, Edinburgh. Originally published in four issues the boys have now put out a collected edition of Dungeon Fun, which is an absolute delight of a read - ideal for younger readers but huge fun for adult readers too. You can pick it up in the Glasgow and Edinburgh Forbidden Planet stores and directly from their own site here dogoodercomics.bigcartel.com/product/dungeon-fun
