A comb for senior Maiko for summer.
Senior Maiko wear these combs with a big flower Kanzashi during the summer months when they go out to their ozashiki.
Junior Maiko use to wear them during the daytime too, but not in the evening.
I found this beautiful comb at Ikuokaya.
They are not cheap at all, but the combs for autumn and winter are even more expensive.
We got on the wrong train from Middelfart to Ã…rhus and ended up in Lunderskov. We then got on the slow train to Ã…rhus. Two teenage girls were aboard who made their hair styling activities into performance art for the entire car. Loud, working in the aisle and as happily unaware as could be, they fixed each other's hair in a variety of styles and filled the air with hair spray. Of course, during a long, slow journey, I got out the camera and took the occasional snap of scenery flying by and people in the window reflections. When my partner took a comb to her hair I grabbed a shot of both her and one of the happy young hairdressers in action.

The mines worked intermittently throughout the 19th Century and were worked continuously from 1900 to 1920, winning lead, zinc and galena. Knob-billed Duck, or Knob-billed Goose, ( Sarkidiornis melanotos) earlier known as Comb Duck or in Hindi as Nukta is a resident of wetlands, marshes and water bodies in most parts of India. The knob on the bill of the male becomes very prominent during breeding season. seen in Sonkhaliya near Nasirabad, Rajasthan
