It started with midnight night land navigation, followed by daytime land navigation, a mystery event which included assembling and firing an M9, M4 and assembling an M49. Soldiers conduct Combatives Level I training at Camp Frettered Military Reservation in Reisterstown, Md., on Aug. 8th, 2016. The class is physically demanding and pushes the limits of every participant. By the last day everyone knows what it feels like to be choked, kicked, punched in the face, body slammed and how to prevent those things to gain control and finish the fight. The students receive a Combatives Level I certificate after passing a written exam and a test on technique. FORT CARSON, Colo. – Staff Sgt.
