Soldiers from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) participate in a "clinch drill" during a Level 1 Army Combatives Course hosted by the 289th Military Police Company on the Fort Myer portion of Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall April 6. The goal of the drill is for Soldiers to achieve a clinch while being pummeled by an instructor. Army combatives classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays at 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. in Thorpe Hall Gym at Carlisle Barracks.
