My first ever, EVER, colour palette taken from a photograph and worked in Photoshop. Too many colours, but I enjoyed myself. The next one will be better!

Grade 3/4 colour blending. Children were given 3 primary colours and encouraged to mix as many colours as they could.

I noticed the colour reflections in this waterfall on a hot sunny day in malaysia. This image is pritty close to how I viewed it.

this is in a ukrainian house tucked deep in the woods, great litttle place. however the floor is full of holes so there was no going in the room!

Autumnal oak leaves on the New Forest.

This is the first commission quilt I ever made and it's DONE!!! The recipient is a colour therapist so that makes me a bit nervous but I think she will like it. She wanted a lot of colour with the overall feel being red, it had to be a rectangle, there had to be movement and poppies in it so I came up with this.

I was wondering what the photo below would look like to someone who is colour blind. Googling around I found a Photoshop plugin at the Vischeck website.

 

Vischeck's colour vision model simulates how the world looks to people with various sorts of colour deficiency. This is what the photo looks like to someone with red/green colour deficit called protanopia.
