The Chapel

The College Chapel was built in the eighteenth century. Dr George Clarke, Henry Keene and James Wyatt were responsible for different stages of its lengthy construction (1720–91), owing to shortage of funds. The interior columns and pilasters, the dome and the delicate foliage plastering are all Wyatt's work. His classical interior was insufficiently emphatic for the tastes of militant Victorian churchmen, and between 1864 and 1866 the chapel was redecorated by William Burges. It is highly unusual and decorative; being predominantly pink, the pews are decorated with carved animals, including kangaroos and whales, and the walls are riotously colourful, and include frescoes of dodos and peacocks. Its stained glass windows were to have been designed by John Everett Millais, but Burges rejected his designs and entrusted the work to Henry Holiday. Oscar Wilde said of the Chapel, 'As a piece of simple decorative and beautiful art it is perfect, and the windows very artistic.

Collège des Bernardins

The Collège of Bernardins, or Collège Saint-Bernard, located no 20, rue de Poissy in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, is a former Cistercian college of the historic University of Paris. Founded by Stephen of Lexington, abbot of Clairvaux, and built from 1248 with the encouragement of Pope Innocent IV, it served until the French Revolution as the residence for the Cistercian monks, students at the University of Paris.

After an overall renovation completed in September 2008, it is now a place for meetings, dialogues, training and culture, offering a rich program of public conferences and symposia, exhibitions, concerts, activities for young people and a theological and biblical studies center. Since 2009, it houses the Académie catholique de France.

It has been the subject of a classification for French historical monuments since 10 February 1871.

One of the old colleges in Cambridge and one of the students that is just passing by. In river Cam a bunch of tourist passing by. Hopefully they are ready to catch the moment with their iPads and iPhones.

A truly beautiful place, the mere sits in the shadow of Framlingham castle in Suffolk. If you visit here, bring some waterproof boots. I made the mistake of crossing the mere in trainers and shorts!

Arguably the most dominant player currently in college football.

For Strobist: This was a seven light set-up; beauty dish boomed in front of model, silver PLM boomed overhead, large silver PLM camera right(for fill), two 84" silver PLM's to the sides of the model angled slightly forward and two strobes(with reflectors & grids) mounted high on light stands to the back of the 84" PLMs on either side of the model. All lights Einsteins and triggered with PW's. The backdrop was captured previously during a night game and the scene composited together in PS CS6.

Trinity College, University of Cambridge. The great Great Court:-) Completed in the 17th century and said to be the largest enclosed space in Europe. The one of Chariots of Fire fame (not actually filmed here), whereby you have to run around the court in the length of time that it takes the college clock to strike noon.
