I know this is a large set to post at once, but I've spent quite a lot of time shooting and identifying each camera. I started collecting these back in the 70's - mostly from garage sales and such. My wife recently found a box of these that I thought had been lost. That is the main reason I wanted to catalog these. A few came from my family. Two still had film in them! I will be getting one of the rolls processing to see what shows up.

Not my usual type of photograph, but I thought this array of fishing gear and small trawlers along the quayside of Genoa would make an interesting image. Thanks for looking.

My half-baked attempt at some studio lighting with a mix of incan bulbs, neutral tint LED, halogen, and high CRI LED. Sadly, I do not have the proper gear yet, for shooting this the right way.

This was posted for Brick Peace but I thought I would make it public to show its little update.

I want to apologize for me saying I would be absent. I still will be, but we keep having showings on our current house and we can't get anything done! So until we actually can pack and get stuff ready, I'm going to be a bit active. ;-)

BTW Contest Winners I will be shipping Monday hopefully. It's been nuts. I apologize for the wait.

Waited so long to find one. So happy I did! (New addition to my collection; NFS.) Today's Doll of the Day (but more photos coming soon).

Here in Germany there is money to be made by scouring litter bins looking for discarded glass/plastic bottles and tin cans, as 99% of them have deposit value on them.

The deposits can range from 8 cents to 25 cents depending on the type of container.

During my breaks at motorway services in my truck I often see guys going around the huge dome shaped litter bins with torches & grab sticks fishing out the 'money'.

When I spotted this woman doing the rounds I turned around and beat her to the next bin, set up my shot and simply waited.

Thanks for taking the time to view my image. Your comments, faves & constructive criticism are greatly appreciated.

Thanks, everyone for adding my picture in your favorite.[in explore]

The hôtel de la Marine (also known as the hôtel du Garde-Meuble) is an historic building located on place de la Concorde in Paris, to the east of rue Royale. It was designed and built between 1757 and 1774 by the architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel, on the newly created square first called Place Louis XV. The identical building to its west, constructed at the same time, now houses the hôtel de Crillon and the Automobile Club of France.

The Hôtel de la Marine was originally the home of the royal Garde-Meuble, the office managing the furnishing of all royal properties. Following the French Revolution it became the Ministry of the French Navy, which occupied it until 2015. It was entirely renovated between 2015 and 2021.

It now displays the restored 18th century apartments of Marc-Antoine Thierry de Ville-d'Avray, the King's Intendant of the Garde-Meuble, as well the salons and chambers later used by the French Navy.

A separate part displays the Al Thani Collection presenting international and inter-cultural works of art from the collection of Sheik Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani.

Somehow I have acquired a typewriter collection, lol. From the left...a resin typewriter, slightly large for 1/6 but still acceptable; a pencil sharpener also shaped like a typewriter, good scale for 1/6, has real paper that says Barbie on it; vintage Tammy typewriter from the Private Secretary and School Daze sets; 1/12th typewriter.
