Throughout the 1930s and 1940s a wide range of fire engines, including articulated ladder trucks were made, with power coming mostly from Hercules or Waukesha engines. All these had their engines under hoods, and the first cab forward model came in 1961 with a flat-fronted cab which is still used today. Conventionals and cab-forwards were made through the 1960s with little change, and Pirsch were also offering their specialties on other chassis such as Ford and Mack CF. Very few conventionals were made after 1970, and current production centers on rigid and articulated cab-forward units, mostly with diesel engines. Pirsch still builds on commercial chassis in addition to their custom fire apparatus.

"J. B. Hopkins, Photographer, Lock Haven, PA." Written in pencil on reverse: "M.(?) R. Shank & wife." The 3-cent tax stamp has been cancelled with a black ink stamp reading "1865."
The most likely candidates for this family are farmer Michael Shank (b.1810) and his wife Susan (b. 1819), who lived in the town of Liberty, not far from Lock Haven.

This is such a cool idea! Always leave things better than you found them. This owner finds these on the beach and removes them.
That's one of two Kimono designs I made for the new collection. It was sewn from a delicate and soft light pink and yellow paisley print cotton. Each Kimono has its own individual pattern.
Hard to decide which outfit I like best *lol* ; ).

Yet another helmet, this one with very human features, as opposed to the beak noses and eye slits favoured by others.
I added some new items since last pictures, shelf's full of Scooby Doo Collectables the house in this picture was provided by a friend in the UK its a hard to find collectable and she shipped it all the way to me.

The May 2, 2015 Show & Shine Kickoff Party at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This was an informal Saturday evening cruise-in sponsored by the Ypsi Area Street Rods to kindle interest in the Show & Shine car show on Sunday.
By good fortune, I happened to catch sight of this interesting little (motorized) pedal car in the back of the owner's wagon.

The Crawford Auto-Aviation Collection is a museum in the University Circle neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. Part of the Western Reserve Historical Society, it was founded by industrialist Frederick C. Crawford of TRW, and opened in 1965. The collection began as the Thompson Products Auto Album, which was also founded by Crawford.
Its eclectic collection of classic vehicles includes a replica of 1890s Cleveland main street, antique carriages, early Harley Davidson motorcycles, a Willys Custom Sedan, and a P-51 Mustang racing plane used in the National Air Races. The oldest car in the collection is an 1895 Panhard et Levassor, while the most modern is the robotic car named "DEXTER", which was team Team Case's entry in 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge 2007, in which it placed in the top 20 entries. As of 2011, the museum has 37 cars that are more than 100 years old, the largest such collection in the world. One of the rarest cars in the collection is an aluminum bodied 1932 prototype Peerless, designed by Frank Hershey, which was never put into production and was the last passenger vehicle made in Cleveland.
