En fin de journée, des groupes de jeunes s’y réunissent pour discuter, rire et se désaltérer, créant une atmosphère détendue qui se mêle au charme du jardin.

This scene ensued about nine yards north of my perimeter fence on a heavily overcast day. I do not know what animal died but my best guess is that it was a faun. It must have died of natural causes because discharge of firearms is prohibited in my residential neighborhood.
The Black Vultures followed the Turkey Vultures at the remains. Within two hours the carcass attracted no further feeders. Nature is cruel and efficient!

Sortie de la première cohorte de diplômés au baccalauréat en chimie – profil criminalistique. Près d’une vingtaine de finissants ont obtenu leur diplôme dans ce programme, lancé à l’automne 2012. Unique au Québec, ce baccalauréat forme des chimistes spécialisés en criminalistique, une discipline s’intéressant spécifiquement à l’exploitation et à l’étude des traces physiques, vestiges d’activités criminelles, délictueuses ou accidentelles.
