Today's FGR challenge was to design a fake ad. I present something that most of us could use from time to time. But seriously, who's going to drink coffee and brush their teeth at the same time?

This was my Sunday morning when I was home.

my morning "eggnog" coffee with Gingerbread Latte creamer. Oh what a way to wake up! And the little happy snowman makes me smile too!

I went out today to do some stuff and stoped on my way home at Starbucks Coffee....

I remember my dad telling me as a kid "Don't take any wooden nickels!" and never had any idea what the saying actually meant.

A few pieces of US history ... albeit somewhat controversial. Sambo's was a chain of pancake house restaurants that started up in June 1957. While the name originated as a combination of both the original owners' names, the chain became linked with the children's story "Little Black Sambo" and was considered highly defamatory by many.

I however, only remember eating great pancakes there on occasion as a small child when we would venture to the U.S. for vacations. How I loved the "tiger butter"! Apparently they were known for coffee too, but I guess I was a little too young to indulge in that. These wooden nickels were given out and were good for a 10 cent cup of coffee at any of their locations.

The memorial card for my husband. Katee, our daughter did not want to put his birth year and death year on the card we passed out on Saturday September 17, 2011. Just for my records I am going add that. Charlie and I were married in August 1986. We had 25 years together. It was a wild ride Mr. Fontane, a wild ride.
