A common cockroach here in Sabah but until now I still couldn't identify what species it belongs to.
Name: Blattidae Sp.
Size: about 15mm.
Area Found: Forest of Bukit Gemuk, Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia.
This big cockroach was found by a work colleague of mine in Kirkdale this week (it was dead). It's not a native creature and apparently (according to the museum) it hails from South America. How it ended up in a Liverpool street is anyones guess!!

Mason couldn't figure out why he couldn't grab the bugs through the glass, but who wants to pick up a cockroach anyway, right?
Invertebrates seen at the Blencoe Falls camping ground, NQ. These two cockroaches were on the same small tree and I think they are adult and nymph of the same species - Ellipsidion, probably E. australe.
