Who knew that cellar spiders were a threat to cockroaches? The cockroach was unwilling to pass beneath the cobweb, even though it clearly wanted to get under the bureau. Ink.

We rarely get to see these wild, outdoor blattoids in the UK, alas, but they seem fairly common here underneath the leaf litter. They are about the only thing bigger than a springtail that I've seen more than one of so far...

 

We've seen a few otehrs indoors, mind - in the local superamarket, in a restaurant... ;-)

I found heaps of these cockroaches in a fissure in a rock on top of Mount Halifax. Very kewl

A Medium sized Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. I had just gotten him for my brother to have as a pet. They don't take much to take care of . and it cost me less than 5 dollars.

This is the fist time I've seen cockroaches mating.

Found in the Uk in Bananas that came from Ecuador. Please could someone tell me the latin name? Thanks
