"A clothesline was a news forecast, To neighbors passing by,
There were no secrets you could keep, When clothes were hung to dry.
It also was a friendly link, For neighbors always knew
If company had stopped on by, To spend a night or two.
For then you'd see the "fancy sheets", And towels upon the line;
You'd see the "company table cloths", With intricate designs.
The line announced a baby's birth, From folks who lived inside,
As brand new infant clothes were hung, So carefully with pride!
The ages of the children could, So readily be known
By watching how the sizes changed, You'd know how much they'd grown!
It also told when illness struck, As extra sheets were hung;
Then nightclothes, and a bathrobe too, Haphazardly were strung.
It also said, "On vacation now", When lines hung limp and bare.
It told, "We're back!" when full lines sagged, With not an inch to spare!
New folks in town were scorned upon, If wash was dingy and gray,
As neighbors carefully raised their brows, And looked the other way.
But clotheslines now are of the past, For dryers make work much less.
Now what goes on inside a home, Is anybody's guess!

Well everyone.
I know I've been bombarding you with horse and girl pictures for about a month now and I do apologise.
These are the pictures that will be going through to print in the next issue of Indicate Magazine.
I'd like to thank Claire and Catherine for letting me steal thier horses. My little sister Tyler for getting changed in the middle of cold damp fields. Everyone at We love to boogie for providing the wardrobe and being understanding about the amount of time I had the clothes. And last but not least you lot!

Surrounded by their costumes and makeup, Miss Tiffany (left) and Charisma Belle (right) finish getting ready in the Hordern Pavilion dressing rooms for the 7am drag show at the Sydney Mardi Gras Party. The PVC costumes on the clothes rack in the background go over the top of the frilly feathered dresses they are currently wearing and are removed during their show.

Inspired by the Christmas pin doll collection of my youth I have started a new tradition of offering exclusive ornament kits. This is the second year I have offered the clothes pin people ornament kit and this year I designed a winter themed version of Cinderella. Each kit contains materials to make Cinderella, her charming Prince and even the glittery carriage. Inspired by the fashion of Marie Antoinette, Cinderella wears a lovely ball gown and a powdered wig.
Christmas if FINALLY fading away. I just need to dress these dolls in summer clothes and pack away 12 glass knick-knacks and take down the small pink tree in a bedroom.
Turtlenecks and overalls
Personally, I detest polo shirts. I hate wearing them and they aren’t my favorite to see on others. But, I realize that I have no right to tell others what to wear.
As a style blogger, I get plenty of feedback on items people dislike. Turtlenecks and overalls are divisive. While some people hate them, others fetishize them. I just wear what I like and let the chips fall where they may.
