American Goldfinch in winter plumage ... pictured only a little more than a month ago, but in those golden days before snow dominated our landscape. In a few more weeks they should be showing signs of breeding season plumage beginning to appear, whether or not the snow is still around.

I suspect that most people buy their clothing from stalls such as this. There seems to be plenty of choice and the styles are very similar to those that customers are wearing

91/365 1 April 2011 - From time to time I have a clothes audit. I get rid of stuff that no longer fits or I'll never where again. I mend stuff that needs mending and work out what I need to update what I have. I think I'm over due one!
This clothes line must be 150 ft (50m). Very convenient to load everything on the line without leaving the back porch but don't try to get one dress at the other end unless all are dry.

One of my favourite subjects to photograph, there's just something about clothes pins I find so interesting!
For the Smile on Saturday theme 'Clothes Pegs' have a fun evening/day/weekend you wonderful folks out there. ;0)
This real wind energy that makes sense! Drying clothes when the wind is blowing 40 mph on a warm Summer day. I just happened to notice the clothes when I was starting to cull some photos. I hung up clothes when I was a kid and one of the first things I did when I first got married 50 years ago was to put up a clothes line for my wife. Yes I helped with the laundry. How times have changed.

Notice the clothes they are wearing. Looks like they are playing it for the camera. The guy on the right has a camera at his waist. This was taken on the street where I was reared.
