Day 246 of 365 - Eggsellent

On Black

I am on a bit of a random macro/closeup kick over the last couple of days.

Lighting: Vivitar 285hv (forgot power) behind the eggs. Triggered by cybersync. Warmed up the tones in photoshop.

I spy with my little eye...

A closer view of the new lead in use. I must try to think of a way to insulate the top of the connector.

Left it a bit too late today to get my photo so I struggled with some greaseproof paper, a couple of bike lights and a brand new chain to try and get something.

testing out my slow 400mm lens. takes some getting use to. I'm a bit miffed at how soft this lens is at F/5.6. Nice and sharp at F/8. It's an old Vivitar / Komine, not Series 1. I'd bet the old 450mm solid cat takes a sharper picture at F/8. But for $40 it'll work for now....
