Image taken in Charnwood, Leicestershire. Very close encounter with one of the local Buzzards on my daily walk, still haven't found where they are nesting but must have passed close today.
These stairs at MUDEC (the Museo Delle Culture) in Milan were pretty freaky. Slightly other worldly and the light at the top was amazing.

Sometimes my photos require “Getting Close” to the subject physically. Lying on top of pile of leaves or wading in shallow waters. Remaining always safe there’s not much I haven’t tried yet to “Get That Shot, lol” From the top of the Empire State Building in NYC to a Native American Celebration in New Mexico and many cool places in between. Under muddled skies, a pair of sharp CSX EMDs lead L423-19 onto double track at SW Cabin with a healthy train of Lima traffic for Cincinnati.
Small, but warm and welcoming Icelandic village, hidden in mountains. I felt a sense of community. I could only start imagining how beautiful Christmas must be in here .... :)
The Roulettes doing an air show for the Royal Hobart Regatta. This shot shows three of the six aerobatic planes that did the display - i've got some amazing shots of them in perfect formation, but I like this one because of their close flyby of the church - gives it a sense of scale and danger.
An oldie revisited.......
Taken a couple of years ago during a visit to Dubbo Zoo with long time friend and fellow flickr tog Joe Micallef.
There were a group of these birds gathered outside the cafe looking for an easy feed.
