Was lucky enough to pick up this wonderful old windup Decca gramophone on Freecycle — it's in beautiful condition and sounds great too! It even came with a large selection of 78s and needle tins!!

"A Clockwork Orange" is a dystopian satirical black comedy novel by English writer Anthony Burgess, published in 1962. It is set in a near-future society that has a youth subculture of extreme violence. The teenage protagonist, Alex, narrates his violent exploits and his experiences with state authorities intent on reforming him. In 1971 the book was adapted in film as "A Clockwork Orange" by Stanley Kubrick, featuring Malcolm McDowell as Alex. Both are quite disturbing but also quite thought provoking.
Another take on this week's Smile on Saturday challenge, portray a book title.
What’s up guys? We’ve been lucky this time because weather was more that favorable this weekend. We thought that it would be a shame not to be outside so we invited our friends to spend some time with us as well, it was a fun day for sure! We chased the light and shadows all day long. What do you think?

The Clockwork Skylark started off life as a cargo transport vessel, however over the years it has been modified and repaired by various owners until it ended up in the hands of a pair of smugglers. Now it zips through the sky carrying its illicit cargo from floating island to island. This is a piece of my entry for Wandering Skies contest and is based on the zeppelin from Ark Survival Ascended.
