Activists and concerned citizens from 350 Mass marched through the Massachusetts State House to exert pressure get a veto-proof climate bill out of conference committee and onto Governor Baker’s desk in a series of ongoing protests and actions to urge passage of the clmate bill. They were joined today by children and staff from the Neighborhood Network Center’s CDF Freedom School who support efforts for climate action.

Members of Extinction Rebellion, climate activists and community members held a rally on the eve of Earth Day at City Hall Plaza and the marched to then Massachusetts State House.
Organizers from various climate coalitions spoke about the issues of the climate crisis particularly the need to stand against new fossil fuel infrastructure.

The normal operating level of the dam is 220 masl. Photo at right shows the level reaching an historical low of 157.55 masl last Friday (July 16) despite the rains, triggering interrupted water supply in Metro Manila. This prompted water utility companies to implement a water rationing scheme to address the dwindling volume of water in the reservoir. Angat supplies 97% of Metro Manila's water supply.
