Miniatur Cliff at the beach nearby Kijkduin / The Netherlands. At this spot sand coming from the sea bottom was put on the beach to broaden it in order to protect the coast and the city behind it. It is called zandmotor. Experimented with a shallow depth of field and different PoVs to recreate the surreal feeling I had at this spot.
I have always thought that sign would make more sense if it was in braille. I mean, if you can see the sign, you should also be able to see the cliff. Right?

It was interesting how various photo merge options in Lightroom and Photoshop resulted in substantially different perspectives and quirks. At the end, the default merge in Lightroom yielded the most realistic panorama.

The red cliffs at Sidmouth, Devon, on a winter afternoon.
Sidmouth, originally a fishing village, is mentioned as far back as the Domesday Book. Its real break came, however, in early Victorian times when the coming of the railway allowed its red cliffs and beaches to become the focus of a tourist resort.
Now with a large population of retired people, Sidmouth is known for its handscome Victorian townscape.
This is from last year's holiday at the Jurrasic Coast. We stayed very close to those magnificent West Bay cliffs and could spend some beautiful afternoons at the beach. The striation of the cliff is formed by alternating bands of harder and softer rock. There are huge ammonites to be found there, especially after parts of the cliff come down in a landslide.
If you look closely, there are a few people roughly in the centre of the image, that gives you a good sense of the scale of those cliffs.

The color span is always beyond imagination which is also why I enjoy photographing outdoor. There was a saying that unusual period of time is a treasure for photographers. I guess this is why people see us "suffering" all the time but still very happy about it.

Three cliffs bay is a beach at low tide, and a series of beaches at high tide, on the Gower peninsula, South Wales. The bay is named after the three limestone cliffs that surround it; this view is from one of those cliffs.
Slieve Liege in autumn, County Donegal, Ireland, I remember being able to drive up to the viewpoint 20 years ago, nowadays you have to park down below (and pay for it) and walk up the paved road, which is a better solution than constructing a huge car park at the top. I cloned out my shadow as the sun was directly behind me.
The next trip begins this weekend, so I may not get a chance to upload for a few days until I adjust. Happy weekend to everyone.
This tower inside the cave is thought to have been a food storage room during the period in the late 1200s when the cliff dwellings were occupied by the Mogollon people.

I took this shot, in part, because it mirrored a similar shot I had taken last year in Ireland. As well, the sheer ruggedness of the cliff face and the partial fog.
Bempton Cliffs are home to the only mainland breeding colony of gannets in England. The birds arrive at the colony from January and leave in August and September.
