The western cliffs of the Isle of May host thousands of breeding seabirds. At this late stage in the season it was only the Kittiwakes that were left in any numbers. Earlier on Guillemots and Razorbills would have populated these cliffs, leaving their distinctive whitewash. There were a few late auk chicks around.

Sunset in Wales, waiting for the sun to drop after a scramble down the bank and over the rocks below.
Not been out for a walk at sunset for a while . maybe thats because we have had no sun :) .

Cliff Palace is the largest cliff dwelling in North America. It contained 150 rooms and 23 kivas with a population of approximately 100 people.

Dunraven Bay, Glamorgan Heritage Coast. Taken from the top of the cliffs on the other side of the beach.
Smith Rock State Park is just outside of Terrebonne, Oregon. It is a mecca for rock climbers from around the world. It offers some of the most challenging climbs in the world as well as climbs suitable for those just beginning. The Crooked River flows through the park. There are hikes for all levels of hikers.
I think this may be a Yellow Legged Gull but since it's a juvenile, I'm not entirely sure as they look very similar to Herring Gulls in their juvenile stage.
